Get access to the Crystal Research event
Any player who has reached Adventure rank 28 and completed the Archon’s story quest “Ascension Ceremony”, Volume 1, Chapter 3, can participate in the event.

If all the conditions are met, open the event menu in the top right corner of the screen and proceed to the “Crystal Resonance” task. Talk to the secretary of the Adventurer’s Guild in Li Yue to access the event.
A marker will appear at the top of the Rift region for you to follow. If you haven’t unlocked this area yet, be sure to check out this guide. In it we described in detail the passage of missions to open a new region.

Rules for the Crystal Research event. How to choose crystals and win in each stage?
This challenge is suitable for players with fully upgraded heroes. A new challenge opens up in the first six days of the event. To participate, you must assemble two teams of the strongest heroes. You can also use the four test characters that appear in the game.

During trials, all elemental resonance effects are disabled, but instead you can choose a combination of crystals to increase the resonance points. Food and other items to improve or restore vitality are also prohibited. A total of six crystals are available to you – three transmitting crystals and three receiving crystals.
Transfer Crystals:
- Burst transfer crystal: Resonance is activated after an element explosion deals damage to an enemy. Available once every 3 seconds;
- Skill Transfer Crystal: the resonance is activated after using the elemental ability by the active character. Activates every 3 seconds;
- Combat Transmission Crystal: resonance is activated after the character enters the battlefield. Available every 3 seconds.
Receiving Crystals:
- Explosion Receiving Crystal: the effect accumulates up to 3 times, and the elemental damage is increased by 40/60/70% respectively;
- Mastery Receiving Crystal: the effect accumulates up to 3 times, the mastery of the elements increases by 80/120/140% respectively;
- Charging receiving crystal: the effect accumulates up to 3 times, energy recovery is increased by 50/75/87.5% respectively.

Transmitter crystals can be attached to multiple receiver crystals. We recommend experimenting or using the tactic of attaching to a single receiving crystal. For example, we have chosen a charge-receiving crystal.
How to pass the Crystal Research challenge and score 2000 points if there are no strong heroes in the squad?
As we have already noted, the game offers a choice of four level 80 enhanced heroes. Here is their list:
- Xian Lin.
- Xing Qiu.
- raid.
- venti.
If you don’t have high level heroes, we don’t recommend using all test characters in one squad. Be sure to take them apart.
Each test consists of two battles. In the first battle you have to increase the resonance level as fast as possible to get more points. We told you more details about the tactics and the course of the battle below.
How to pass the “Predisposition of the elements” test
In the first stage of this challenge, you will encounter hilichhurls, shamachurls, and various living machines. To achieve this you need to score at least 700 points.
For the first phase, we recommend putting together the following team:
- Xiang Ling (pilot character): the explosion of the elements of this hero allows you to destroy a large number of enemies at once.
- Xing Qiu (pilot character): this hero does not have high damage and strong elemental ability, but can deal good damage after activating elemental blast.
- Each upgraded hero: the third character must have a good burst of elements or an elemental ability to kill enemies on the battlefield while cooling down the skills of strong fighters.
- Every elemental hero of Anemo (except Venti): We recommend taking the Anemo character last on the team.

In the second phase of the test, you will meet large groups of treasure thieves, as well as sorcerers and agents of Fatui. Since almost all of these opponents are affected by Anemo, we recommend choosing the following heroes in the squad:
- Traveler (Anemo): the pumped up explosion of elements and the elemental ability of the hero will allow you to quickly take on a large number of enemies.
- Raiden (pilot character): when you use an elemental ability, Raiden deals a lot of damage. Use this character’s elemental blast against the magicians and agents of Fatui.
- Venti (trial character): this hero will be the main one in the second stage of the test. Constantly trigger the burst of the character’s elements to kill a large number of enemies in a short time.
- Any anemo sign (e.g. sucrose): Needed to defeat Treasure Thieves while Venti’s Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst have cooled down.

Beware of the appearance of strong enemies – sorcerers and agents of Fatui. They appear behind you and other opponents. If you don’t take them out in time, you’ll miss out and it’s unlikely you’ll be able to collect all the rewards.

awards:
- Score 500 points in a level: Source Stones (70), Mora (20,000), Shiny Guyun Stone (2);
- Score 1000 points in a level: Mora (20,000), Hero Experience (2), Glowing Sand Guyun (2);
- Reach 2000 points in a level: Mora (20,000), Enchantment Magic Ore (3).
How to pass the “Diffraction Theory” challenge and score the maximum number of points
Pilot characters in this challenge:
- Yun Jing.
- Razor.
- Ayato.
- Yoimiya.
We recommend that you divide them into two squads and mix them with your heroes. In the first battle you will have to deal with slimes, mitachurls and abyss mages. The latter will act as strong opponents. Suggested team members:
- Yoimiya (pilot hero): a powerful elemental ability and the element of Pyro allow this character to quickly deal with emerging slimes and mitachurls.
- Yun Jing (pilot hero): Use this and the other characters to destroy enemies while Yoimiya’s skills have cooled down.
- Pumping character of the element Electro.
- A pumped character of the elements Hydro or Anemo.

In the second phase of the challenge, you mainly fight with mitachurls, guardians of the ruins and geovishaps. We recommend putting together the following team:
- Ayato (trial hero): the character becomes the main fighter in this challenge. Activate elemental explosion and elemental skills to destroy all enemies around you.
- Razor (trial hero): great for killing monsters while Ayato’s skills cool down.
- Traveler (any element).
- A pumped character from the elements of Crio.

awards:
- Score 500 points in a level: Source Stones (70), Pestilence (20,000), Cloud Sea Quicksilver Pill (2);
- Score 1000 points in a level: Mora (20,000), Hero Experience (2), Cloud Sea Lead Pill (2);
- Reach 2000 points in a level: Mora (20,000), Enchantment Magic Ore (3).
