Many gamers on Steam praised the remake Dead space for good optimization. YouTube channel Christo Gevedjov decided to check how the game behaves on different PC builds.
The first video tested the game on a computer with a Ryzen 5 5600G processor, 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM without a discrete graphics card. Graphics settings were set to low.

Average values:
- 1080p – 20-30 fps;
- 900p – 40-30fps;
- 720p – 30-45 fps.
In the second video, the game was launched on Steam Deck. As you can see, if you lock the frame rate at 30 FPS, set the graphics settings to balanced, and enable FSR 2.0, the game will run quite well. With an unlocked FPS, things are a bit worse due to sharp shots.

The third video was used to boot a PC with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card (the most popular graphics card according to Steam), an Intel Core I5-13600K processor, and 32 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM.

These are the results:
- 1080p and low settings – 40-50 FPS;
- 1080p, FSR 2.0 and low settings – 70-55 FPS;
- 1080p, FSR 2.0 and medium settings – 65-45 FPS;
- 1080p, FSR 2.0 and high settings – 55-40 FPS;
- 1080p, FSR 2.0 and ultra settings – 33-50 FPS.
Recall that the Dead Space remake was released yesterday (January 27) on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is not available in the Russian Steam region. Incidentally, we recently published an article that contains a complete chronology of the confrontation between humans and Necromorphs.
