Although the gates DOOM is available on almost all platforms, but you can still find game systems where it isn’t available yet. A software engineer and arcade enthusiast, Jennifer “DragonMinded” Taylor, has found such a system – a little-known Sega Naomi arcade machine in Russia.

Many 3D arcade games from the Dreamcast era have run on this system and Taylor tries to make it run a classic shooter. Judging by the posted video, it works. In addition, no emulator is used for the work – everything functions on the “native” hardware.

However, the project is in a very early stage of development, prone to crashes and almost unplayable, so you’ll have to wait for a more advanced version. All materials are on GitHub.
Note that Naomi is built on the same architecture as the Sega Dreamcast, which allowed it to run on this system Crazy Taxi and House of the Dead 2. By the way, Dreamcast ports of Doom exist, so maybe a Naomi version is coming soon. And the shooter was launched on Genesis / Mega Drive. Kim Kardashian demanded a ban on Roblox
