In the journal, the mod’s creators said the project “has gone through three iterations of the development approach” in three years. In 2020, a team of modders began building prototype scenes on various versions of the X-Ray engine, including X-RayOxygen, OpenX-Ray, and X-Ray Rentgen Luch. In 2021 she switched to X-Ray v2.0, after which she tested it for a long time, collecting different locations and creating test mechanics. In 2022, the team has already started serious work: creating environment and character models, prototyping first-person and facial animations, and reworking the engine.

The authors also explained why development is so slow. According to the creators of the mod, there are three reasons for this: lack of financial support, the personal lives of team members and problems with the engine.

Finally, the team revealed some key details about the mod:

  • The game world will be completely open and seamless;
  • The size of the world will be at least 6 square kilometers;
  • Events will unfold in 2015;
  • The main character is the Shooter;
  • There will be about 50 weapon models in the mod;
  • First person animations are made from scratch.
