Metacritic has published the TOP 40 best PC games of 2022. Reviews from critics have been taken into account in compiling the list (there must be at least seven).
Top awarded by JRPG Persona 5 Royal – the average score of the computer version was 95 out of 100. Initially, we note that the project was released in 2016 for PS3 and PS4, but only in Japan, and in 2017 it was released in the west. Later an extended version was released with the subtitle Royal.
Second place was taken Elden Ring, which garnered the most Game of the Year awards in 2022, and was also recognized as the best project at The Game Awards 2022 and Golden Joystick Awards 2022.
The construction simulator unexpectedly took third position Dwarf Fortress, which was created in 2002. The full release of the project took place in early December – the game immediately became a hit on Steam. Not only did it sell well, but it also received 96% positive reviews.
