12 MiniBattle is a collection of 44 minigames for two: they are all simple and short, but very exciting. You can leave each other with knives, play table tennis, drive and turn into lifeguards (and even buckets that collect raindrops!). Each player gets one button on the screen – and nothing else. Of course it takes some getting used to this gameplay, but it is a lot of fun to play. The game is free on Android, unlike iOS.

Two heroes and monsters

Two Heroes and Monsters is a free-to-play cartoon game in which players take on the role of members of a spaceship to defend themselves against hordes of monsters. Each subsequent round (monsters attack in waves) only gets more difficult, but in contrast the game offers a large arsenal of weapons, building barricades and pumping up the character.

Stickman Party is another free roundup on our list with a wide variety of games designed for both one player and up to four people. There is a chance to compete in chicken collecting, racing, soccer, ping-pong, cooking pizza and throwing pies in the face. Minigames are, as expected, short enough not to get boring. Ludo King is a free mobile board game that supports up to 4 players simultaneously. Each player is assigned chips of a certain color. To win, you need to get them to the finish line faster than the rest – the move is determined by a dice roll. Despite some monotony, the parties don’t last long and they don’t have time to get tired.

Touchdowners is a free sports game with “crazy” physics, as the developers say. The competition consists of two teams – three players from each side. The first team to score three goals in the opponent’s end zone wins. Management is, I must say, quite tricky, and chances are you’ll have to laugh at each other more than play.

Supreme Duelist Stickman is a simple yet surprisingly popular free to play stickman mobile game. There is a two player mode on one screen. Before starting, they offer to choose one of many locations and weapons. During the battle there are no buttons, your hero will attack in the direction you are guided by the virtual stick.

2 3 4 Player Games is also a collection, this time consisting of 30 free mini-games for a party of 2 to 4 people. The kit includes the same races, football, an analogue of ping pong, chicken races, sumo and tanks. The interface is simple and banal – in all games there is only one button for each participant. Projects in the collections are simple and short, but captivating.

The last ninja twins

The protagonists of this paid platformer The Last Ninja Twins are ninja twins. They never break up and try to follow each other. The main task of the players is to bring the brothers to the end and save their lives. To do this, you need to “tap” the screen in time (depending on the character you control, the left or right side of the screen is used), after which the controlled ninja will jump. While moving, it is desirable not only to overcome obstacles, but also to collect coins.

Madcar: 2 – 4 Players is a fun free arcade racing game for 2-4 players. The game has five different modes: soccer with cars, destruction, capture the flag, sumo and obstacle race. Before the start, there are sets of cars to choose from, which differ in both appearance and characteristics, as well as different locations. I have to say that, despite not the best graphics, it’s quite exciting to play.

Cats Carnival – 2 Player Games

Cats Carnival -2 Player Games is an incredibly cute project starring cats (as cool as in the puzzle PUSS! with cats from another world). At its core, this is a collection of just over ten free competitive games that test your responsiveness, dexterity and finger strength. You can fight each other in tanks, on airplanes, stick to ping pong (where would you be without it!) or ride a skateboard. All the minigames are, as expected, short and simple, but tacky.

Gladihoppers is a fun free gladiator game that combines 2D physics with basic 2D animation. The combat system is based on combat postures and a combination of attacks of different degrees of strength (weak and strong), but battles are also fought at long distances – using spears. The game also offers seven unique arenas, character customization, and various modes including fast-paced duels on the same split-screen device.

However, not everyone likes it when someone’s unwashed fingers touch the screen of their sacred smartphone, and simply playing on various gadgets can be much more comfortable. Projects that you can play while sitting in the same room are in the second part of our selection.

Heaven: Children of the Light

One of the best free projects for smartphones, created by the developers of the most beautiful Journey (and even psychologists recommend this game!). BEE Sky: Children of the Light has no violence per se – the task of the player as the spirit of light is to bring the fallen stars to their constellations. Gamers are offered to explore 7 worlds, as well as the opportunity to improve their cloak, which acts as an analogue of life force. You can play the game together or meet other ghosts and work with them.

Fun free pixel shooter with rogue like elements. The gameplay is simply to shame: you have to clear randomly generated dungeons, while earning and pumping coins. plot in Soul Knight is a sketchy alien showdown and a tired choice, but local co-op and an arsenal of weapons in the amount of 270 units more than make up for such shortcomings.

Human fall flat

Human: Fall Flat is a physics-based platformer ported from PC with multiplayer for up to four people. A full review of the game can be found here. Basically, the heroes have to solve various puzzles and riddles, the answers of which are not always as simple as they seem. Various locations, secrets and character customization are available. Suitable for both family holidays and friendly zalipalov.

Those bombs! Co-op game – an exciting free board game, the aim of the game is to defuse the bomb, relying on the tips of expert friends. One of the heroes takes on the role of rescuer, while the other(s) become the expert with instructions to defuse the explosive. They cannot see each other’s actions, only communicate. At the same time, the timer is ticking, so you have to think fast.

Death Squared is a well-paid puzzle game for one or two people, ported to mobile devices from consoles. Under the control of the player are square robots, the goal of which is to get to a certain point safely and well and overcome all the difficulties in his path. A full-fledged multiplayer of the “older” version of the game replaced the cooperative mode on one screen – different sides of the screen are responsible for different robots, as usual.

Cat Quest 2

Cat Quest 2 is one of the best mobile co-op games on Apple Arcade, and not just because it’s about cats. The plot is quite simple: two cat kings try to retake the throne. Along the way, they meet interesting heroes, learn new skills, weapons and spells, enter unfamiliar dungeons and help various characters, expanding their knowledge of the world.
