On December 14, 2022, a free nextgen update was released for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It contains many visual and technical improvements, as well as bug fixes and additional content. All owners of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from December 14 could download a next-gen patch that improves textures and adds new content to the game. For users who purchased the game on any platform after this date, the update will be downloaded automatically.
How to get the White Tiger of the West Armor and the Thousand Flowers Gear
Launch any version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on GOG GALAXY 2.0 and start playing. If you launch the game through Steam or the Epic Games Store, please note that access to the My Rewards section requires a link to a GOG account. If you don’t have such an account, you can create one for free when you start the game.
Rewards await you at the Royal Palace in Vizima. In your inventory you will find a letter from Yennefer that will help you find them. As a reward, you will receive swords from the nine-tailed fox, the armor from the white tiger of the West, and an armor of a thousand flowers from Dol Blathanna.
How to find a chest in Vizima
To get to Vizima, you need to go to a pointer for fast travel and interact with it. A map of the area will open: press “Spacebar” and select “Royal Castle in Vizima” (first the location, then the pointer to which we go).
Immediately after the apparition in the castle, we go through the door on the left and go into the yard. Here we find the only open door that leads to the Ambassador of Var Attra – you are here. Behind the fireplace there is a small room in which there is a coveted chest of things. In addition, here you can inspect chests and shelves and collect many other useful things. Or read a few books, whichever is closest to you.
The chest will contain another letter from Yennefer, but so far with no additional tasks. Maybe they’ll add another set of quests in the future.
After examining the chest, you will receive unique rewards.
Available equipment from level 7:
- Sword of a Thousand Flowers – 82-100 damage;
- White Widow from the Valley of Flowers – 155-188 damage;
- Armor of a thousand colors – 66 armor;
- Boots of a Thousand Flowers – 22 suits of armor;
- Gloves in a thousand colors – 18 armor;
- Trousers in a thousand colors – 21 harnesses.
Equipment available from level 11:
- Steel Sword of the Nine-Tailed Fox – 109-133 damage;
- Silver Sword of the Nine-Tailed Fox – 192-234 damage;
- Armor of the White Tiger of the West – 85 armor;
- Boots of the White Tiger of the West – 29 suits of armor;
- Pants of the White Tiger of the West – 30 armor;
- Elbows of the White Tiger of the West – 25 armor.
All items are relics, meaning they are superior to Common Items, Master Items, and Magic Items, second only to sets in terms of stats.
How to get a new card in Gwent
To get a unique card for playing Gwent in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt you need to run Gwent: The Witcher Card Game on any platform, but with the same account. In this case, you will immediately have access to a new card for the minigame – just continue the game and look in the inventory.

After installing the game, log in to your REDlauncher account. To receive rewards for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, use the same account you use to play Gwent on your computer or phone. It’s free and comes in the same launcher as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
How to start the new quest “In the Shadow of the Eternal Fire” and get the Forgotten Wolf School Equipment
A new assignment has appeared in Velen – “In the Shadow of Eternal Fire” with rewards based on Netflix’s The Witcher series: a set of basic blueprints for 4 pieces of an armor set, as well as two swords. Weapons and equipment can be used once you reach level 20, so if you’ve just started playing the game, there’s no need to rush.
The task begins with a meeting with the deacon at the blackboard “Damn Pit”. The character is quite loud, it will be hard not to notice him.
