The main star of the movie “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” revealed the secret after 30 years and scared the fans.
Actor Joe Pesci, who played the role of loser Harry Lime in the films Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, revealed how he suffered on the set of the second part. While Kevin McCallister’s trap stunts were performed by stuntmen for most of the stunts, some scenes required the presence of the perpetrators themselves. So, in one of the episodes in the movie “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York”, when Harry Lime’s hat was on fire, actor Joe Pesci suffered serious consequences.
During a new interview, actor Joe Pesci revealed that he performed the stunt himself and suffered serious consequences from the fire as a result. “Besides the expected bumps and hardships in general that are integral to this kind of physical humor, I got some really serious consequences from the fire on top of my head during the scene where Harry’s hat is on fire. I was lucky to have professional stuntmen perform hard stunts,” said Joe Pesci. The actor has not reported any other incidents on set.
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York was released in 1992, 30 years ago. Starring: Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. They starred Kevin McCallister, Harry Lime, and Marvin Merchants, respectively.
