When will Genshin Impact 3.3 be released?

The release date is December 7, 2022, at 04:00 Moscow time. All limited-time events, including character and weapon banners, are valid until January 18, 2023.

What characters will be available after the release of Genshin Impact 3.3

Banners with two new heroes appear in the game. The first is Scaramuccia (Wanderer), a five-star Anemo character who uses a catalyst. Previously, he acted as a boss, and now you can play for him. In your team, Scaramuccia will be the main attacking hero. We’ve talked about it in more detail in a separate guide.

The second new character is the Anemo Archer Faruzan. She is most effective in the supporting character position. Her elemental blast, combined with other elements, causes a dispelling reaction, which greatly increases the elemental damage.

In addition, you again have the opportunity to get Arataki Itto – a five-star Geo character. The banner is available until December 28. We talked about how the mechanic of repeated prayers works in the thematic guide.

In the second phase of update 3.3, which runs from December 29 to January 17, you will be able to re-obtain other characters: the five-star Electro Spearman Shogun Raiden and the five-star Hydro Swordsman Kamisato Ayato.

What weapons will be available after the release of Genshin Impact 3.3

In the new banners, you can drop the 5-star Memories of Tulaytulla Catalyst, Scaramucci’s signature weapon. You can find detailed information about him in our guide about this hero.

And swordsmen can be armed with a four-star Tokabo shigure. You will receive it absolutely free as a reward for completing the Akitsu Kimodameshi event, which we will discuss below.

What artifact sets are coming in Genshin Impact 3.3

Chronicles of Halls in the Desert. Two items from this set increase Anemo Elemental damage by 15%, and four items increase attack speed by 10%, and normal and charged attack damage by 40%. The effect works after being hit by a charged hit on an enemy. This set is perfect for the new Scaramucci character.

The flower of paradise lost. Two artifacts increase Elemental Mastery by 80, and four increase the damage of the Budding, Blossom, and Vegetation reactions by 40%. If these reactions are caused by the character using this set, the effect is increased by an additional 25% for 10 seconds. The bonus can occur 1 time per second and stack up to 4 times. The character itself does not have to be on the battlefield. This set is suitable for the supporting characters of Dendro, Collea and Nahida. If you rely on Tignari, the main attacking Dendro hero, then Flower of Lost Glad should be given to other Hydro or Electro support characters.

The exact location where you can find these artifacts is currently unknown.

New events will come after Genshin Impact 3.3

Events are limited-time events that you can only participate in for a certain amount of time. Completing them can give you both exclusive rewards and extremely valuable resources, such as the Crown of Insight, which is necessary to maximize the hero’s talents.

Akitsu Kimodameshi

This series of challenges will take you back to the Inazuma Islands. Therefore, you must first open this region, if you have not already done so.

You have to throw the ball into the wall of blocks and try to break them. In fact, we have a variation on the theme of the classic Arcanoid. However, it will definitely interest you because of the generous reward that is provided for completing all stages of the event.

During this challenge, you race and collect balloons within the allotted time. The more items you can pick up, the better. Before passing the test, you are allowed to activate one of the available bonuses. If you want, you can join the event in co-op.

In the wake of the wind

We already saw a similar event in early 2022. There is a separate guide on our website dedicated to this. As before, you play as Rebels and Hunters. The goal of the players of the first team is to hide so that they are not found, and the second is to find all the characters. The new challenge will be different from what we’ve seen before. In particular, captured Rebels can aid their allies with illusory beacons that confuse hunters and cloud their vision. As before, you can take the test in a co-op.

Fog Dungeon: Kingdom of Sand

This is a new event from the Mist Dungeon series. We have dedicated a thematic guide to the first such test. This time there are several puzzles waiting for you in which you have to set up the lines of force correctly. In addition, you will participate in various combat tests.

New game mode – Sacred Call of the Seven

After the release of Update 3.3, Genshin Impact will include a collectible card game called Sacred Call of the Seven. In terms of gameplay, it’s similar “Gwent” or Hearthstone. During each game you have active characters, as well as cards responsible for support and summoning. The element is randomly determined by rolling a die. Whoever defeats the enemy’s three heroes first is considered the winner.

Over time, the number of available characters will grow. You can fight with artificial intelligence as well as live players. We’ll tell you more about this mode after the release of the update.
