CD Projekt RED posted a short video to TikTok showing them a close-up look at the fan-criticized Nilfgaardian armor from The Witcher series in a remaster The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Thanks to the video, you can see the armor in full growth, and not just the top part, as in the trailer.

This armor, we recall, will not replace the original and will not be included by default in the remaster. According to the authors, it is only intended for connoisseurs. Initially, this armor appeared in the first season of the Netflix series and received criticism from fans. Some have jokingly nicknamed them “scrotum” because of their appearance. Why CD Projekt RED decided to add them to the updated version of The Witcher 3 is still unclear.

The remaster will be released as a free update on December 14 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The patch improves graphics, speeds up downloads, adds support for RTGO, DLSS, and FSR 2.0 technologies, introduces a photo mode, an alternate third-person view, and new new content inspired by the Netflix series.

CD Projekt RED previously confirmed that the remake The Witcher will be an open world. And the youtuber compared the remaster The Witcher 3 with the 2015 version. A fan makes a game about Papich
