The author of the Shadow Of Chernobyl Update mod, a remaster of the first Stalker, has published a video and many screenshots of the project.
The video shows an updated version of Cordon, the Stalker’s first location. It should be noted that the video does not show the final version of the level. After making the video, many changes were made to the geometry of the location.
In addition to the new Kardon, the screenshots showed the Agroprom dungeon.

The remaster is currently in the OBT stage. It is designed not only to improve the visual component, including textures, weather effects, NPC and weapon models, but also to fine-tune the gameplay mechanics and in-game balance.
It is not yet known when the final version of the mod will be released.
