We Who Are About To Die, a roguelike gladiatorial simulator from indie developer Jordy Lakiere, has been released on Steam. Taking into account the release discount, the game is sold for 719 rubles.
Players must take one of the characters and lead him from the Roman slums to the Colosseum. The money earned can be spent on weapons and armor, but the hero has only one life, and after his death he will have to start over.
The developer notes many different weapons, pumping systems and “unique» a combat system that allows you to choose the direction of impact and is generally similar to that in Mordhau.
The game is currently in early access. In the future, the developer promises to add controller support, sandbox mode, and create more characters and items.
After the release of We Who Are About To Die touch in the list of best-selling games, ahead God of war. It currently has a 93% Steam rating based on 180 reviews.
