Around the world God of War: Ragnarok is dotted with special scrolls – treasure maps that can tell you where to look for valuables. Hidden treasures contain resources and rare items such as weapon accessories or amulet enchantments. In this guide, we’ll explain how to find each of the 10 treasures in the game. Keep in mind that you can’t dig treasure without a map, so first you need to find a scroll.

The gold of the vulture
Location on the map: Alfheim, Quarries (The Canyons).
The scroll can be found right at the entrance to the quarries. This location becomes available after you escape the Temple of Light with Tyr as part of the Secret of Groa story mission. You will return to the mystical gate of Strand and after the cutscene a new path will be unlocked. The treasure map will be directly on the road.
Location of treasures: Alfheim, The Barrens.
After leaving the quarries, you will pass the location of the plains. You need to get to the skeleton of a huge monster in the eastern part of the area. Torches burn near the remains, so they’re easy to see even during a sandstorm. Treasures can be unearthed in the jaws of a skeleton.
Reward: Postmortem blast accessory and tools.
Forgotten Tower
Location on the map: Alfheim, The Forbidden Sand.
The map is located on one of the shelves near the Legendary Chest, on the second floor of the Elf Sanctuary. The desired building is located in the northeast of the Forgotten Sands. You can access this area after completing The Reckoning quest.
Location of treasures: Alfheim, The Forbidden Sand.
The correct place is north of the Burrow area and west of the Elf Sanctuary. To find it, you have to climb a rock, break through the wall and climb even higher. The treasure will be on the right.
Reward: Virtue of Alfheim amulet enchantment and resources.
Under the rainbow
Location on the map: Vanaheim, Noatun’s garden.
You enter Noatun’s Garden after the main quest The Reckoning. A battle with multiple enemies is waiting for you on the shore and after the battle, turn left. The map is located in the far left corner of the coast, near the building with the Legendary Chest.
Location of treasures: Vanaheim, Goddess Falls.
To find this treasure, you have to climb a rock in the southern part of the Delta. Climb through the vaults of the waterfall to the platform. On the right side, near the edge of the cliff, the treasure will be hidden.
Reward: Niflheim Virtue Amulet Enchantment and resources.
The Toes of the Giant
Location on the map: Vanaheim, Vanir Shrine.
Before going to this location, you must complete the “Payback” mission. As part of the Freya’s Worry side quest, swim down the river to the location of the Ruins on the rock, which is next to the Mystic Gate. Climb along the vine to the Goddess Falls. After defeating the Soul Eater, return to the sanctuary of the Vanir. The desired scroll will be to the right of the entrance, near the corpse.
Location of treasures: Vanaheim, River Delta.
The treasure is located behind the Mystic Gate of the River Delta, next to Brock’s workshop.
Reward: Enchantment of the amulet “Might of Vanaheim” and resources.
Vikings gift
Location on the map: Midgard, Raiderfort.
You can find this scroll during the quest “The Word of Fate” – it is located in the center of the Raider Fortress. In The Lake of Nine area, notice the plume of smoke on the left. Go around the ice blocks on the right and climb up the ledge. Once you are in the fortress, take care of the opponents and take the card on the ground behind the camp.
Location of treasures: Midgard, Lake of Nine.
The treasure is in front of the large doors, behind the Raider Hideout in the Far East passage.
Reward: Midgard Justice Amulet Enchantment and Resources
Fruits of the industry
Location on the map: Svartalfheim, Alberich Hollow.
After completing the Forging Destiny quest, head to the end of the main trail in Alberich Hollow. Go past the chain with the elevator to the right to the wooden platform. There you will find a new role.
Location of treasures: Svartalfheim, Modvitnir’s Rig Machine.
Take the treasure map to the Modvitnir rig. On arrival, go to the stone ledges. The treasure is on the first ledge in the right corner.
Reward: Amulet enchantment “Life Force of Svartalfheim” and resources.
washed up
Location on the map: Svartalfheim, Alberich Island.
Go to the island of Alberich and climb the rock next to the watermill. Break the stone with a spear, jump to the wooden platform and from the bank to the other side. Then climb onto the island and pick up the scroll.
Location of treasures: Svartalfheim, Dragon Beach.
Return to the beach and go to the far right side. Treasures are buried next to the leg of a huge skeleton.
Reward: Virtue of Jotunheim Amulet enchantment and resources.
my glory
Location on the map: Svartalfheim, Nidavellir.
After the Forging Fate quest, return to Nidavellir. From the Mystic Gate, turn southeast and go through the pub. Then, after crossing the bridge, turn left and continue to the top. Climb up, find a spot for a spear and use it to climb up the ledge – there’s a card waiting for you.
Location of treasures: Svartalfheim, The Applecore.
Return to the main entrance of the Core. Enter the cave through the room with the mini boss and the legendary chest. Behind it you will find a hook in the ceiling – use it. Then immediately jump down to the right side of the location. Keep following the tracks in a downward spiral. The roll will be at the end of the path by the river.
Reward: Muspelheim’s Blessing amulet enchantment and resources.
Scar is born
Location on the map: Vanaheim, the plains.
This scroll can be obtained after the Creatures of Prophecy and Favor Return of the River quests. After filling The Crater with water, return to the Plains location. Turn south from the gate and swim to the Yggdrasil Rift and the Vortex entrance. In this area there is a small island on which the scroll lies.
Location of treasures: Vanaheim, the plains.
Once at the location, turn east, standing at the Mystic Gate, and move around until you come across a stone arch in the shape of a circle along the way. Go inside and get the treasure hidden there.
Reward: Amulet enchantment “Justice of Asgard” and resources.
downfall of Dagestr
Location on the map: Svartalfheim, The Applecore.
Take the ferry from Aurvang Marshes back to the Core. Get on the elevator and keep going down until you see a spot for a spear on the right. Climb up, near the dead gnome will be a map.
Location of treasures: Midgard, Lake of Nine (The Lake of Nine).
The last treasure is located north of the Raider Fort. Go around the building opposite the Mystic Gate of the Lake on the right. Move along the path to the wall of ice, from which a glow breaks through. Save the road with weapons and climb the ledge, on which there will be a treasured treasure.
Reward: Helheim’s Power amulet enchantment and resources.
