The creators of the legendary shooter series about the adventures of a police officer named Max Payne announced the long-awaited new installment. A game Max Payne 4 turned out to be a remake of Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne
Remedy Entertainment made their fans happy. They have been waiting for years for news of the revival of the popular Max Payne shooter series. However, the developers did not announce a full-fledged continuation of Max Payne 4, but remakes of the first two parts of Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Despite the fact that the rights are owned by Rockstar Games, it is their creators who will be busy with new versions of cult shooters. At the same time, the remake becomes one big game in which gamers can once again dive into the noir atmosphere and recreate the plots of two parts at once.
The announcement of the Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne remakes came immediately after Remedy Entertainment and Rockstar Games signed an agreement. The developers promise that the game will be the same size and quality as the studio’s previous projects, including Control, Quantum Break and Alan Wake. The production process is sponsored by Rockstar Games. The creators said players will get the classic story and familiar game mechanics, including slow-motion bullet-time, but in a modern version with the latest graphics.
The remake of Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne will be released as one game on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5. A release date has not yet been chosen as the project is in the concept phase. Fans are sure that after the release of the remakes, Remedy will be shooting Max Payne 4.
