Gaijin Entertainment has announced that the military action War Thunder is 10 years old. For the anniversary of the game, the developers have prepared a festive hangar, anniversary discounts, holiday stickers, decorators and vehicle camouflages. Also appeared a new self-propelled gun Sturmtiger (also called Sturmmörser).
This self-propelled artillery support is built on the chassis of the Tiger Ausf. E and is equipped with a massive 380mm jet-bomber. His job is to destroy enemy buildings and fortifications.
In the game, the Sturmtigr receives one type of projectile: explosive missiles. It takes some time to master them, but after that it is possible to destroy the target with one shot. At the same time, we note that the mortar recharges for a very long time.
These SPG and decals can be obtained by completing missions in the Dreams Come True event, which will last until November 14. Also in the game you can get gear that was previously donated on previous birthdays.
The developers also noted that the daily online in the game exceeds 160 thousand people, and in total more than 70 million users have registered in the action.
We plan to develop all aspects of War Thunder – from graphics and interface to new interesting game mechanics and modes. Our plans include new branches of development and interesting modern World War II designs and equipment. As usual, we won’t be announcing anything concrete until we do, so I’ll skip the details.
