Satisfaction Iberia has announced its first major additions to the management team since its founding, marking a new phase with the appointment of Daniel Domenjó as chief executive officer. The producer has signed veteran executives David Llanes and Jordi Rosell, who will take on roles centered on content strategy, international business development, and executive production.
Domenjó, who serves as CEO and co-founder of Satisfaction Iberia, will oversee a broader vision as the company expands its footprint. Llanes is charged with attracting international formats to Spain and Portugal, leading adaptations, and, where appropriate, forging strategic alliances with global partners. He will also participate in developing formats inspired by projects signed by the Satisfaction Group, ensuring a cohesive pipeline that aligns with the group’s standards and ambitions.
David Llanes brings nineteen years of industry experience to the table, having worked with prominent production houses such as El Terrat (The Mediapro Studio), Mediacrest, and La Fábrica de la Tele. His portfolio includes acclaimed films and programs across multiple networks, including The Floor for Antena 3, Need Help for ETB2, Tresors amb història for À Punt, Tabús for TV3, and Among the Sheep on La 1. His earlier credits also encompass producing programs like Be Bike for A&E, House of Car for DMAX, and contributions to La Caja on Telecinco, El Mago Pop on DMAX, and Do It Yourself. This breadth of experience underscores his proven capability to manage diverse formats and audiences.
Daniel Domenjó expressed strong enthusiasm about the new addition: the team at Satisfaction Iberia, and the group at large, are delighted to welcome David. His talent, vision, and deep familiarity with industry formats are expected to reinforce the company’s distinctive approach and growth trajectory. The move is viewed as a milestone that signals broader ambitions for the Iberian arm of the Satisfaction brand.
David Llanes himself welcomed the opportunity, noting that few roles allow involvement across formats from world-renowned distributors and independent producers. He highlighted the Iberian region’s rich potential for world-class content and the prospect of strategic collaborations on both international and local productions. Llanes looked forward to building on Satisfaction’s reputation, continuing to learn, and bringing innovative programs and formats from around the globe to screens in Iberia and beyond.
Jordi Rosell joins this initial phase as executive producer and consultant, bringing more than 25 years of experience as a director and producer of both local and international projects. Rosell stands as a highly respected figure in the Spanish television industry, lauded for ventures that have achieved notable success and impact. His leadership has guided acclaimed shows, premieres, and specials that resonated with audiences, including MasterChef, Operación Triumph (Star Academy), Mira qué baila (Dancing with the Stars), Baby Boomer, Survivor, On Attack, and Benidorm Fest, among others.
Having contributed to numerous audiovisual production companies, Rosell is widely recognized as a major expert on state and regional networks. His strategic perspective informs entertainment productions, helping to align content with market needs, regulatory environments, and audience preferences.
Daniel Domenjó commented that bringing Jordi on as a permanent consultant for executive production represents a defining moment for the company. He cited Jordi’s prestige, longstanding history, and shared values—human-centric collaboration, reliability, humility, and talent—as essential to Satisfaction Iberia’s mission. The company expressed sincere appreciation for his decision to join the team and contribute to ongoing success.
Focused primarily on entertainment while already owning assets and projects in fiction and documentary genres, Satisfaction Iberia aims to create, adapt, and produce for networks and platforms across Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and the US Hispanic market. The firm operates in partnership with Satisfaction Group, an independent French group co-founded by producer and presenter Arthur Essebag and serial entrepreneur Daniel Domenjó. The Iberian division plans to leverage the group’s extensive catalog and expand its international deal flow, bringing a diverse range of formats to regional screens.
In parallel, Satisfaction Group produces about 1,000 hours of television annually for major French networks and maintains global co-production agreements with industry leaders such as Talpa, Fulwell 73, and Keshet, among others. This network of collaborations provides a robust foundation for Satisfaction Iberia’s growth and its ability to offer high-quality, market-ready content for diverse audiences across North America and beyond.
