The glare is on the set of Password — hotter than ever. The top-rated game show on Antena 3 keeps leading the evening crowd, with the last weeks turning increasingly captivating. The protagonists of the latest duels, Orestes and Rafa Castaño, push the stakes to the limit as the ship of fortune nears the shore.

The program remains fascinating because since Rafa joined, Orestes has found himself in the dreaded Blue Chair several times. The tension tightens as the day wears on; both competitors know each other well and neither wants to risk losing the prize.

Yet these two rivals shine beyond the final challenge. Orestes continues to perform with remarkable strength in the musical round. The contestant demonstrates a superb ear and broad musical knowledge, and just like in Monday’s episode, every note in this test is seized with precision.

musical orestes

The clue Roberto Leal offered to Orestes was this: “The year is 1950. But the version we will hear is from 1983.” Rafa didn’t land the note perfectly, and the rebound found Orestes in the spotlight.

“He treats a song like this with a poetic touch, almost like a 50s guitar duet,” says Orestes. How could it be otherwise? Even though the contestant didn’t nail everything, Leal could hardly hide his astonishment and urged him to perform the piece.

The contestant brightens, parts the air with a portion of the song, and declares, “I know it’s beautiful and that’s how it begins.” “I don’t understand how that happened, but what matters is clear: this is La flor de la canela,” the host exclaimed, adding, “It’s incredible to witness.”

More musical surprises

But the musical moment did not stay with that famous tune alone. Rafa pivoted to surprise Roberto Leal and the audience by singing and dancing to El baile del handkerchief, a legendary number that many will instantly recall.

The performance featured a bold choreography by the popular singer Leonardo Dantes, and Rafa executed the dance with precision. “The question is: how did you know such a move?” the host teased. Rafa responded with a witty, “I wear it to work.” The room erupted in laughter as Leal and the crowd enjoyed the spontaneous moment.
