Yandex Music brought together a lineup of artists, partners, and friends at the Gorky Moscow Art Theater on Tuesday, December 5, to reveal the winners in the 2023 main music categories and share the latest developments within the service.
Nyusha stood out as one of the rarer attendees at the gathering. The Russian pop icon returned to the awards stage after a considerable hiatus, choosing to spend much of her time in Dubai with her husband and children. For the evening, she selected a sleek ensemble featuring a slit top paired with tailored trousers, her hair styled in a high bun, and makeup accenting her lips with a classic red shade.
Nyusha and her husband, businessman Igor Sivov, are parents to two children. Their daughter Simba was born in 2017, and their son Saffron followed about a year later. The artist has shared that Simba’s name was inspired by the lead character in their favorite film, The Lion King. She described how a billboard message provided a hint that helped shape the baby’s name, and how their family values spiritual signs and thoughtful moments, which they believe guide daily life.
Earlier in her career, Nyusha experimented with bold fashion choices in music videos, including a leather-bras appearance, demonstrating her willingness to explore different aesthetics and styles in front of the camera.
