Laura Escanes to Lead Narration on TV3’s New Couple Adventure Show

Laura Escanes is making her television debut as a presenter on the Catalan channel TV3. The influencer and finalist of the third edition of El Desafío has signed on to guide audiences through a brand new reality format that will capture the imagination of viewers in Catalonia and beyond. Filming is set to take place in the Catalan Pyrenees in the coming weeks as the show takes shape.

The program invites pairs to embark on a rapid race across the region from one end to the other. Escanes will serve as the narrator for this journey, following the routes that begin in Vall d Aran and finish at Cap de Creus. The concept centers on speed and teamwork as couples push to complete the course before their rivals and the clock run out.

Auditions drew substantial interest, with more than a thousand couples applying in March. Eight pairs earned a place to start the competition in June, and the reward for the winning duo in the first season is a cash prize of 10,000 euros. The show frames a dramatic quest that promises tension, humor, and competitive spirit as participants navigate the Catalan landscape.

La travessa will premiere exclusively on CCMA’s new streaming platform, a high quality content service that offers universal access in the Catalan language. It will also be available on TV3. The production is handled by Aguacate & Calabaza Films, reflecting CCMA’s strategy to adapt both content and distribution to contemporary viewing habits and the evolving audiovisual experience.

With a follower count surpassing three million across social networks, Escanes continues to shape her public persona around fashion and lifestyle. She often shares insights from daily life and fashion tips with her audience. Earlier this year she hosted the launch of a podcast where she speaks candidly about her experiences, and she currently hosts another popular program that explores topics from the everyday to the aspirational. Her presence on screen and online has made her a recognizable figure for a broad audience seeking relatable, modern content.
