The television host Ksenia Borodina recently vented about what she described as the greed of her youngest daughter. She shared her thoughts on Instagram, a platform owned by Meta, which has faced bans in Russia for political reasons.
In a video Borodina posted, her younger daughter Teona talks about money. Teona expresses a desire to buy gifts for loved ones but also insists that she will not dip into her savings to do so.
“Teona is a strong little girl who does not want to spend her own money on gifts for others. Can I get some money so I can buy a gift?” she says. Borodina responds by suggesting that Teona should use her piggy bank and break it to buy presents for everyone. Yet the moment reveals a trace of greed, and Borodina calls Teona a true Capricorn for that sentiment.
On the family front, Ksenia Borodina is the mother of Marusya, her eldest daughter, whom she shares with her former husband, Yuri Budagov. In her personal blog, Borodina has explained that Budagov does not provide financial support and sees Marusya only a few times a year. She does not place blame on him, believing that the businessman may come to regret the situation in time.
The celebrity is also raising Teona, a seven-year-old daughter from her relationship with Kurban Omarov. Borodina has stated that she did not divorce Omarov immediately to shield Teona from potential psychological harm, choosing to stay together for two years. Ultimately, in 2021 she chose to part ways with Teona’s father, a decision she does not regret.
There was a period when Borodina spoke about a person who often shows anger toward his mother, highlighting its impact on the family dynamics. The statements illuminate how personal finances, parental choices, and family values intertwine in the media spotlight.
