Jaime Nava rises as the sixth participant in Survivientes 2023, stepping onto a new stage after years dedicated to rugby and public life. Having navigated the world of media with appearances on Mediafest and a stint on Traitors Spain, he now takes on the most demanding television experiment as a survivor, testing endurance, strategy, and resilience in front of a broad audience in the Americas.
“I’m genuinely excited to embark on this journey. It’s something I’ve never done before, and I know the road ahead will be tough. Your support matters, and I’m here to bring my best effort every single day,” he expressed, underscoring the commitment behind this bold move.
Nava trained with Moraleja Alcobendas Rugby Club, later earning a spot with the Spanish National Team and serving as captain through seasons of intense competition. After a prolonged period of athletic success, he faced a personal setback, then redirected his path back toward professional pursuits. By 2018, he ventured into television as a contestant on MasterChef Celebrity, marking a turning point that broadened his public profile beyond the rugby pitch.
From that point, his television presence grew steadily. In 2020 he published a memoir-style book titled TEAM! Rugby lessons and values for life, sharing lessons learned on the field and in life. Today he appears alongside a diverse cast on Survivientes, sharing the screen with familiar names such as Raquel Mosquera, Adara Molinero, Sergio Garrido, Patricia Donoso and Gema Aldón, all ready to tackle the unpredictable challenges that await on the beach and beyond.
