Ben Affleck recently admitted that he disliked the suit he wore as the Dark Knight, citing weight, bulk, and the claustrophobic feel that came with every scene.
Affleck’s run included three high profile appearances in DC films: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and The Flash. He described the armor as nearly impossible to breathe in, a problem not only for him but for many squared away stunt performers who wore the same suits. In testing and filming, crews observed that heat built up quickly, and at times only around 40 to 45 minutes in the suit could pass before heat exhaustion forced a break and makeup touchups were needed.
