Dutch King Willem-Alexander had to cancel his previously planned trip to the United States due to a previous pneumonia. This has been reported NL Times.

During his study trip next week, September 6-9, the king would visit the states of California and Texas. The Dutch delegation will still visit: Queen Maxima and several ministers will travel to the United States to establish economic relations.

Willem-Alexander’s trip was canceled at the insistence of doctors – they thought that it would be harmful for the king, still recovering from pneumonia, to make long flights over the ocean.

However, he continues to work in the country. On Wednesday, August 31st, Willem-Alexander coughed violently while visiting a refugee reception centre. After one of the health workers offered the monarch cough medicine, he admitted that he had been cured of pneumonia in the first working week after the summer vacation.

Previously reportedII. For the first time in history, Elizabeth will not go to London to appoint a new prime minister.
