Rapper Travis Scott sold over $1 million in merchandise at two concerts in London, breaking the previous UK merchandise sales record set by Korean band BTS. writes about it TMZ.
The rapper gave two concerts in London on August 6 and 7, and his first since performing at the Astroworld festival in November, where 10 people died in a stampede. During the performances, fans of the artist purchased over $1 million worth of items made specifically for Scott’s performance in the UK.
Hoodies sold for $100 to $125, t-shirts for $45 to $75, and hats for $45 each.
During their Love Yourself World Tour in 2018, BTS sold merchandise for just under $1 million.
Along with Travis Scott, his girlfriend Kylie Jenner flew to England with their common daughter Stormi. The couple also has a son, who was born in February this year.
