After months of discussion, David Broncano arrived on the public channel on Monday, September 9, keeping the essence of ‘The Resistance’ intact. Despite the uncertainty, the format, previously broadcast on Movistar Plus+, conquered the audience with a large screen share of 17.1% and 2,152,000 viewers.
There are many opinions about Broncano’s appearance on TVE, including Carlos Herrera, who took advantage of the ‘Things that make noise’ section of the COPE programme to speak openly about the subject. The communicator congratulated the TVE presenter for “staying true to his style, being easily recognisable”.
Carlos Herrera did not stop there, praising Broncano for his debut in the public company: “It was clever because he decided not to compete. I bet on it and I do not compete on these issues. Because surely the agenda of the other side is unrivaled. So go ahead. It will end well or it will end badly”, he said to TVE, without predicting the future of ‘Rebellion’.
