Netflix has had a major series and movie leak in recent days that has taken control of the platform. The second or third season of ‘Arcane’ ‘Heartstopper’ were two of those affected.

According to the portal ‘What’s on Netflix’, seven episodes of the successful series starring Kit Connor and Joe Locke are already floating around the Internet, along with other major series and films that the platform plans to release in the coming months.

A few days later, Netflix has already commented on the matter with a short statement: “One of our post-production partners has been compromised and unfortunately, images from several of our games have been leaked online. Our team is taking aggressive action to have them removed.”

The exact source of the leak is currently unknown, but everything points to a hack of Netflix China or an Asian dubbing studio. According to various media reports, it seems that Hackers managed to steal passwords Vulnerable accounts of employees of voice-over studio Iyunno, Inc., which has offices in Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan.

This could explain the poor quality of the filtered images, overprints on the screen, or visible watermarks – conditions that suggest that these were raw material sent to the studio as a subtitling supervisor.
