The dance and musical drama “Romea and Juliet” will be filmed in New York. The film will tell the story of Romea, a black ballerina from high society, and Juliet, a homeless rapper from the streets of Harlem. Their meeting in New York and their struggle for a relationship that everyone around them is against is going to be shown in drama, dance, song, rap, fashion and design and is planned to be released in 2025.
“It’s both Romeo and Juliet and something completely different. It’s a modern, fast-paced drama, like La La Land meets 8 Mile. “It is a powerful project in metarealism format, where each scene is a separate visual novel,” said Alexander N.
