Russian actress Lyubov Aksenova became the heroine of the new series “Crime and Punishment”. socialbites.ca was informed about this by the press service of Kinopoisk.
For the sake of his role in the series, the actor changed his image; she dyed her hair blonde and cut her bob again. In one of the shots, she posed in a leather jacket, blue jeans and a black top. In Crime and Punishment, Aksenova will take on the role of Raskolnikov’s sister Dunya.
The main roles in the series will also be played by Ivan Yankovsky, Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Alena Mikhailova, Victoria Tolstoganova, Yulia Snigir and others.
The new interpretation of “Crime and Punishment” brings the event to the 21st century, St. Petersburg will bring the summer to its streets. Student Rodion Raskolnikov is exhausted by lack of money, unemployment and thoughts about the meaninglessness of his existence.
