Singer Adele has spoken out about refusing to drink alcohol at her concert in Las Vegas. His words were quoted Independent.
“You know, I stopped drinking a long time ago. Maybe three and a half months ago,” the star said.
According to the singer, he was initially dissatisfied with his sober life and called it boring.
“I was a full-blown borderline alcoholic in my twenties. And I miss… So enjoy your whiskey sour. “I am very, very jealous,” he said to the audience.
Adele reminded that she became addicted to alcohol again during the coronavirus outbreak. The singer added that he could drink four bottles of wine before 11 a.m. during quarantine.
Adele later revealed that she had stopped drinking alcohol for an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. And later in an interview Vogue, associated his craving for alcohol-containing beverages with his childhood memories. Adele’s father was always hiding alcohol from her, so she always wanted to know “what was so great about it.”
