Stylist Alexander Rogov told why he abandoned defiant images and returned to the classics. He shared his comment with the magazine dog.
The expert called for self-censorship and thought over dress code in the preparation of images.
“We have no censorship on the channel. I’ve got the brain for this: I’m not going to visit my mom in leather leggings, a crop top, and sheer Rick Owens heels, even though I have three pairs of these in my closet. I am self-censoring, and strictly on purpose. Before the pandemic, I was dressed to the nines on “Rogov in the City,” which was part of the visual of the show: A slightly crazy fashion stylist wanders the grounds. I really looked as weird as I could get there in orange sweaters and a blue jacket. I no longer want provocative clothes, ”said Rogov.
He also added that attention should be paid to ease and comfort in visuals.
“First of all, the priority changed with age; I need to be comfortable. Want to walk on the knee boots at Loewe that get so knocked down and crushed that you have to constantly unbutton them between shots? Oh no. Second, “Horns in the City” is a morning show, so I can’t wear Martin Margiela tabi or rhinestone pants. Something elegant that I can sit in, that doesn’t wrinkle, isn’t overly large, and doesn’t look inappropriate in the frame. A good suit, T-shirt, sneakers – that’s actually my whole style on TV, ”the expert concluded.
Previously stylist Rogov dived into the pool with a trench coat over the naked body.
