The US government has announced the development of “smart” clothing that turns everything into a listening and observing tool. This has been reported daily mail.
Computerized clothing feels like regular clothing but will have the ability to record audio, video and geolocation data. The company plans to produce shirts, pants, socks and underwear with tiny cameras, sensors, microphones, as well as charging blocks powered by the user’s body.
Experts also suggest that active smart tissues (AST) will increase efficiency by collecting information that the person usually does not realize.
The National Reconnaissance Agency has spent $22 million on this program for undercover agents, law enforcement officers, and emergency medical technicians.
