Messy curls, flashy buns, seashells and ponytails are the trendiest wedding hairstyles of 2023. Russia’s makeup champion star stylist Ivan Subota told socialbites.ca about this.

According to her, curls remain the most popular wedding hairstyle today.

“The trendy performance of this hairstyle is less volume and a calmer wave. Inconspicuous and light accessories are suitable – ideally vintage. The definite anti-trend is giving excessive volume using tight curls and hairpieces,” she said.

Another trend in wedding hairstyles is what the stylist calls a bunch.

“Don’t be afraid of smooth beams. Most importantly, don’t pull your hair too tight. But to assemble a complex structure on your head and stab your hair with bundles is not worth it: it kills all lightness, and very few people go in real life, ”said Ivan Subota.

The stylist advised those who want to visually lengthen the neck, to pay attention to the shell style.

“Our mothers’ undeservedly forgotten hairstyle is back in fashion in 2023 in earnest. The shell suits many, it is easy to assemble and also elegantly flexes the neck. The main thing is not to make the crust too smooth and not overdo it with hairspray, ”the stylist warned.

The simplest, but at the same time fashionable option for a wedding hairstyle, Ivan Subota considers hair gathered in a ponytail.

“In order for the tail to be stylish and look trendy on the bride, you need to follow this rule: “The simpler the better.” Do not make it heavy with additional elements and accessories. There will be enough ribbon in the color of the dress or bouquet. Do not make the tail too high. And in no case do not use hairpins – it always looks unnatural and tasteless, ”the stylist added.
