On Monday, June 26, the journal’s managing director, Dylan Howard, informed his team that the publication was closed and this decision would come into effect immediately.

Grazia is an Italian publication that was released in 2021 following a licensing agreement between its publisher, Mondadori, and Howard’s publishing house, Pantheon Media Group. Journalist David Thielbel became editor-in-chief. However, he left the publication less than a year later. The post of editor-in-chief was taken by Marie Claire’s native Joseph Errico.

According to industry sources, Mondadori has not renewed the license of Howard’s publishing house Pantheon Media Group. The Italian publishing house and the Grazia USA team did not make an official statement about the closure of the magazine.
