Princess of Wales James Middleton’s brother told the broadcast Ok! about the role of dogs in her life and dreamed of a pet since childhood.
James Middleton, who told the broadcast reporter that he didn’t have a dog until puberty, admitted that he “wrote letters to his parents trying to persuade them to get a dog.” When the family bought a black Spanish puppy named Tilly, he became her best friend.
“I found great comfort in my dog Tilly, especially when she was younger. At that time he knew all my secrets – for example, who I love, all these complicated things that I could not tell anyone in general, ”said James Middleton.
Tilly, who passed away 17 years ago, was the first of many golden retrievers and Spaniards to become James Middleton’s pets. Dogs in particular helped Ella out of depression when she wasn’t able to work or even respond to messages, according to her.
“I still have a hard time talking about it, but overall my dogs played an important role in my recovery and rehab. My dog Ella, in particular, gave me a reason to get up in the morning, get dressed, and go for a walk even if it’s raining. You go out for 10 or 15 minutes, you get fresh air and suddenly you forget what hurt you,” Middleton explained.
He added that Ella probably understood what had happened to him and was trying to make him want to look after himself and her.
An avid dog lover, James Middleton is now an ambassador for Pets As Therapy. He also founded the pet products brand Ella & Co.
