The most popular tea among Russians was tea bags. This is stated in a study by socialbites.ca from the online food delivery service SberMarket.
According to the research, black tea enters the cups and teapots of service customers 3.5 times more than green tea.
“At the same time, users prefer tea bags to tea bags – sales of tea bags are 3.3 times more than orders for tea bags. Research says the most popular black tea flavors are bergamot, berry and lemon flavors.
Russians also often prefer herbal teas, especially drinks containing chamomile and mint.
“Wild rose and thyme teas are popular. Fifth is hibiscus tea,” he says.
Service analysts noted that in 2023, the demand for fruit and berry teas increased – they began to be purchased 14% more often than in the same period last year.
