Lattice red – a rare mushroom often found in the forests of southern Russia this spring, inedible, but not poisonous either. Dmitry Tikhomirov, the host of the Mushroom Kingdom program on Living Planet TV channel, told socialbites.ca about this.

“Although it is written on the internet that red cage is poisonous, there is no reliable information that it is poisonous. It is inedible because there is nothing to eat there: like all mushrooms of the Veselkov family, it has a cavernous body,” he explained.

According to Tikhomirov, the red trellis is a southern mushroom that usually grows on the Mediterranean coast. According to him, the spread of this fungus in the forests of Russia may be due to warming.

“I have never met in the middle lane, the grill is very thermophilic. But if the warming continues to develop, the Voronezh region will go north, through the Kaluga region, until the network worker reaches the Moscow region, ”said the author.

But the TV presenter does not recommend tearing the cage for the sake of entertainment.

“The red trellis is a rare mushroom listed in the Red Book of Russia, you should not tear it and spoil it. In addition, a criminal clause was introduced for this, now literally this spring. Therefore, it is better not to risk it, ”she concluded.

Previously reportedIn the Sochi region, the Red Book of poisonous mushrooms began to grow actively.
