Born to a miner and a music teacher, the supermodel lost her father in 2000 when she was 14 years old. After graduating from school, Irina Shayk went to study in Chelyabinsk, and at the same time got a job at the Svetlana modeling agency. Later, she won the local beauty pageant and won the title of “Supermodel 2004”. There she was noticed by the famous scout Gia Jikidze and offered to become a professional model – since 2005, Irina Shayk began to work in Europe, and then in the USA.
