Klim Shipenko, the director of the movie “Challenge”, called the feeling of weightlessness during the filming of the movie, a vivid memory of flying into space. He talked about it in an interview with woman shot.
“Weightlessness, gliding, flight. It is unique, cannot be repeated on Earth, cannot be imitated in any way, ”admitted Klim Shipenko.
He added that the process of shooting on the ISS was an unusual experience, different from what it usually is.
“We usually shoot films differently, the film crew is at least sixty people, everyone is doing their job and contributing to the common cause. And there were only five of us: me, Yulia and three cosmonauts. And it was all in the frame. I had to do everything myself – I remembered the experience of student cinema, ”said the director.
After time passed, he stated that he hardly believed the flight into space had actually taken place.
“I can’t even believe that everything really happened to me. It’s like a big dream. I really want to repeat this experience, ”said the director.
