In a new documentary called The Real Crown: Inside the House of Windsor, the King’s former nurse, Julie Alexander, says the Queen denied her “beloved uncle” her last wish 10 days before she died.
The queen said no. “No,” she said, even on that sad day. He broke your heart, you know, I guess. That’s what he wanted, this title for him. Not having such a title for his wife was a slap in the face for him, ”said Alexander.
