A job change was the reason why Prince Joachim and his family moved from France, where they currently reside, to the United States.
“On September 1, 2023, His Highness will take up a new position in the Ministry of Defense as Defense Industry Attaché at the Danish Embassy in Washington DC, where the Prince will take part in strengthening defense as a representative of Denmark. Industrial cooperation will be established with the USA and Canada in the coming years.
