Studio Mainframe Industries has announced an unusual open world sandbox for networking called Pax Dei. One of the features that distinguishes this project from most other similar games is that there will be no NPCs in it.
It is worth noting that many veterans of the gaming industry work on Pax Dei, which previously consisted of companies such as CCP Games, Blizzard, Remedy and Ubisoft.
The action of Pax Dei takes place in the medieval world, where gamers will live freely. They can unite in groups, give each other orders or act alone.

The emphasis is on social opportunities. The developers promise a trading system, wars between clans, the ability to learn professions and build your own village, as well as a rich world inspired by the myths and legends of that time. By the way, the game has magic and such alien creatures as ghosts.

“The skinning of a basilisk, the choice between war and peace: it all matters. In a world completely controlled by the player, all playstyles connect and complement each other. Join the community and be a part of the stories that are about to take shape.”says the official description.
The project is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. In Steam it can already be added to the wishlist. In addition, you can register for the upcoming alpha test on the official website. Modders have already stripped down Atomic Heart’s twin ballerinas
