Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania, which launched Marvel’s fifth stage, has become one of the company’s weakest premieres. Audiences slammed the film for a boring plot and weak special effects. MODOK was especially hard on the design which, it seems, they didn’t try at all.

MODOK’s appearance turned out to be so caricatured that viewers compared it to Humpty Dumpty from Puss in Boots and the villain from The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava.
Some enthusiasts decided to manually correct the character’s design, making his face less human. It seems to have gone much better.
