The cover of the new issue of WWD features a portrait photo of 55-year-old Pamela Anderson wearing a Fred Leighton tiara, a white Cotton Citizen T-shirt, and no makeup. Photographer Heather Hazzan captured the star.
“I love seeing my freckles. I love it when my hair is not styled. I like a fresh face, not any kind of injection – they don’t work for me. It seems to me that now I can wear a beautiful silk blouse and some trousers, always heels, but I can not put on makeup, style my hair after a shower. This is my favorite image. This way I feel like I’m proclaiming my strength because I totally accept myself and that’s great,” Pamela Anderson shared in an interview with WWD.
The star also talked about her relationship with fashion. “I wish Anna Wintour would love me but I know she would never do that. I want to wear these beautiful clothes but I don’t look good in them. Some things are so weird, they just don’t fit me. When I was young, I chose to have fun. I mean, I don’t have to put on my shiny pants and a big hat in five minutes. Walk the red carpet with Tommy [Ли] It was simple, we wanted to look funny. We didn’t think of needing a stylist or anything like that,” she explained.
