In honor of the new year, Russian artist Prokopy Ulyashov of Soyuzmultfilm, also known by the nickname Prokky, showed what iconic Soviet films would look like if they were released in the style of The Simpsons animated series.
Over the years, The Simpsons has had its fair share of movie parodies. And there was no Soviet New Year’s classic! I correct this omission!
For each work, the author came up with a short description.
The first art shows a parody of the movie “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession”:

The second image shows “New Year’s adventures of Masha and Vitya”:

Well, in the third illustration you can see the “Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath”:

And here’s how users reacted at work:
“One Hundred Percent Hit”— ivan_pravyi_rull.
“Another Masterpiece”– rzaszkiewicz.
“This is just the bomb!!! I thought this series was really coming out”– sergeev23.
“Finally a proper remake! You are amazing”– evgeny_runev.
“Hippolyte Flanders – the perfect hit” – denworm.
Recall that Prokopy Ulyashov previously showed what The Simpsons would look like if they were invented in the USSR. The Last of Us showrunner considers Bella Ramsey an ideal candidate for the role of Ellie
