Josema Yuste became the hero of one of these Christmas debates. The comedian, who went to the set of ‘Horizonte’ this week to talk about the limits of humor, caused significant controversy due to the statements he made on social networks and his criticism: “It’s down five or six steps compared to 25 or 30 years ago.”

There are currently guilds where you can’t make humor., This is quite complex. Before I could do this and nothing happened. Like the black race, gays… You humored in a white way and nothing happened.”

“I’ve seen gays call each other fagots and nothing happens, but don’t worry”Yuste explained and added: “I have policies about not doing certain things and I don’t care about the rest.”

Yuste, on the other hand, wasn’t too worried about users of social networks: “I don’t care because I’m not in them. There are more negatives than positives. There are so many positives and so many negatives, that there are people who commit suicide, go crazy, and get depressed… Why will they say it?

“What would they say before, the neighbor, your cousin, your brother-in-law… And he couldn’t reach you because there were no social networks. People were living in a healthier, less polluted way. It was highly polluted and highly mediated by the opinions of others,” commented Josema Yuste.
