One in five Russians cope with buying gifts for the New Year in one day

“Russians need an average of a week to buy a festive outfit for New Year’s Eve. Some spend about a month on this, among them the number of women is twice as much as men. The older the respondents are, the less inclined they are to get into their festive style,” the study says.

It was also noted that the majority will receive new holiday decorations this year. Only 30% of respondents said they plan to settle for existing toys.
