A humorous shooter came out a few days ago However, High on Life does not have an official Russian localization and does not intend to. Therefore, as a joke, gamers asked the famous YouTuber Dmitry Syenduk to write down his translation. And here is the blogger’s response.
According to Syenduk, he contacted the authors of the game. But at the same time, he asked not to wait for the result too soon, because the game contains a lot of text. The YouTuber explained that he will try to get permission for an official translation first, and if that fails, it will be possible to talk about a fan project. True, for such work you need a whole studio.

The extreme option, of course, is to just pop the fan translation, but this only sounds “simple” on paper. There’s just a huge amount of text, even Justin himself warns about this. Usually entire studios do this sort of thing. Actually, if such a “fan studio” exists, I don’t mind participating. But for now, we’re at least trying to break through the legal option.
The game itself was released by the Squanch Games team, the project has 88% positive reviews on Steam. The plot tells how an alien cartel invaded Earth to use humans as illegal resources. Players must take on the role of the savior of the world.
