The decision is related to the reboot of the DC Cinematic Universe, which is now under the responsibility of James Gunn and Peter Safran. If insiders are to be believed, the heads of DC Studios have already contacted director Patty Jenkins and told her that Wonder Woman 3, as it stands, is not in line with their plans.
