Netflix has released the trailer and poster for The Witcher: Origins, a prequel to the show starring Henry Cavill.

Set 1200 years before the events of the original series, Origin tells the story of a massive magical catastrophe called the Conjunction of the Spheres that brought humans, monsters and witches to the world of elves.

At the very end of the trailer, Buttercup was shown unexpectedly.

The four-episode prequel will premiere on Netflix on December 25.
As for the original show, Season 3 is currently in production and will premiere in Summer 2023. He, remember, will be Henry Cavill’s last. He is replaced in Season 4 by Liam Hemsworth, brother of Chris Hemsworth, who played Thor in the Marvel movies.

Previously, CD Projekt RED showed new Nilfgaardian armor from the remaster up close The Witcher 3, which was hated by fans. And the company also confirmed that the remake of the first The Witcher will have an open world. They showed an eerily realistic bust of Daenerys from Game of Thrones
