Warner Bros. film company. is preparing to launch a sequel to the supernatural thriller “Constantine: Lord of the Dark” (Constantine), Deadline writes. Keanu Reeves will return in the sequel and Francis Lawrence will direct. Akiva Goldsman is writing the script.
The recordings will start next year, but a release date has not yet been announced. It is also unclear what the new film will be about.
The original film was released in 2005 and was Lawrence’s directorial debut. It tells of the exorcist John Constantine, who lives in present-day Los Angeles and fights demons. After all, alien forces invade our world and he can see them.
